Today, we’re overjoyed to premiere the stunning new track ‘Get Some’ from promising talent MACKandgold. Along with previous List Pick ‘Take Me In’, this new track features on MACK’s Take Solace EP, indicating that her music is a place where the listener can take shelter. We’re definitely drawn into the moody atmosphere set in the opening of ‘Get Some’, an electro-pop wonder characterised by The xx-esque guitars, Lorde-worthy sensuality and something of Sia’s instinct for relatable yet original pop hooks. As with each of MACK’s songs, we can’t help but sing along to those earwormy chorus lines and bop our head to the vibey synth beats. Speaking about the Take Solace EP, which is out today, MACKandgold reveals that, “There’s a common theme of darkness and overcoming in each song.
